No, but the '84-86 EFIs use the same computer as '87-94: EEC-IV. I don't know about the '84-86 300ci feedback carb computer, though. You don't need a scantool to pull the codes from the EFIs, though; just get a paperclip & a Haynes manual or read this:

The Feedback engines use TFI-IV ignition, and the computer in my 84 F250 was marked EEC-IV, however, it did not have a diagnostic port... For something with Duraspark III, there may be a diagnostic port, but, with II, there ain't nothing to diagnose... LOL
