battery replacement

I am new to the list but have enjoyed and learned a bunch so far.
Also, have confirmed many of my observations by reading past threads.....like the slowness of the torque convertor to kick in and lack of shifting into overdrive until everything is warmed up.

Since several of the threads have dealt with how longs???? How long have your batterys lasted? I am replacing both my batterys today on my 1996 7.3 PS; which I thought was relatively impressive.

First, Welcome To FTE! Second, that's almost unbelievable on a set of original batteries to go 9 years. You must be living right, mine only made it 6 and I thought that was good.

I will second the comments by Max1775. My batteries lasted 5 years which is about average.
