Sounds good to me! By the way Chuck, thanks for not calling me Mike! LOL..
John- I still got love for ya buddy, if you want to call me Mike, that's OK too. (smile) LOL...
I'll let you guys know how the install goes this weekend. Either way it looks like I'll have to cut the taper on the tracks before installing them. Thanks everyone!

OK, since we got these pics of the original seats, can anyone tell me where to get a brownish color to match the seat arm and bracket. I used to think all the metal parts of the seat were silver like the seat tracks are and the arms were just rusted brown but after looking at mine more closely I surmised that the tracks are the same silver as the rest of the metal trim in the cab and the seat metal itself is brown. How can I match this to something I can buy. I would think I could match it to something in a spray can???

Hmmm, I'd have bet dollars to doughnuts that my entire seat frame was black. I remember that 'cuz it was the only part of the truck that wasn't rust-colored!

Now you got me wondering if I should go back up to the barn and take another look at the seat frame color.

George, yes go up in the barn and take another look. What I am going to do is look under the material of my seat to find the brown color that is not faded nor rusted . I think if I go up higher ther should be less rust as most of my cab was rusted low on the floor and around the seat tracks. I have a pic of a low mileage Firetruck and it shows the same brown color of the seat arms versus the silver of seat track. Do you think I can get a paint chip to match or try trial and error??
