Positraction, Equalock and a few other names are the mfg names for limited slip diffs. These are options on most cars and trucks.
Most work with spring loaded clutch paks, and are subject to wear to the point where they no longer provide "positive traction" or an "equal lock" on the tires.
Lockers are different...using spring loaded cams or locking devices that lock the spiders. These do "positively lock" the diff, and are clink clank and chirp jobs--thus not a usual option on most cars and light trucks.
