I have an 82 F-100 and it doesnt have any anti-sway bars. I was wanting to know if anybody knew were I could get some for my truck for both the front and back.
I have a front, and rears aren't too hard to find in junkyards. But you'll have to pull the lower coil spring mount from the front axle to add an OE front sway bar. When you do it, you might as well add the quad-front-shock brackets.
You don't have to add quad shocks - I just recommend it. You can do either or both. It's kind of a pain to pull the coil off the axle beam which is why I recommend adding all the options. If you don't like the way quad shocks feels, you don't have to install all 4, but I don't know if the brackets will fit a 2WD. The hardest part is pulling the 1 1/8" nut that retains the bottom of the coils.
Find an old 3/4 ton with front and rear sway bars and you can get the same effect due to the thicker bars. i did this to the front cause the guy we got the truck from bent the plate the front bar sits on and we had a spare front one off a 3/4 ton.

82' Flareside: zoom zoom doesn't even begin to describe it, 2/4 Drop, Soon to have 325hp 351 Clevo (maybe more,in a 3600lb truck)Backed by a C6 with a 2000 rpm stall and a 3.50 9 incher, American Racing AR-23 (series 23) wheels, Upgraded interior, Sony Xplod stereo
Different years used different styled front sway bar brackets. The '82 style was bolted to frame tabs, but the later ones (~'87-91)were bolted to a front skidplate/airdam/crossmember. In the 90s, it went back to frame tabs. Make sure you're getting one that can be attached to your truck before you buy it.
There shouldn't be a problem with that cause the frames ae the same up front where they mount if i remember correctly. But make sure the sway bar has the proper mountst though due to possible lenght differnces.
