Gem?

I have a 99-F350 diesel. My turn signals works some times and doesn’t work other times. I will wiggle the fuse panel and it will work for a short time. A Lose connector I was thinking so I took out the panel and there is a black box hooked to the back of it. I think the problem is in that but I can’t get it open. Also my dome light stays on every now and then and will come on and off when I drive. I hear a clicking from that black box behind the fuse panel do I have to replace the hole thing I cant find one in the salvage yard and I see big $$$ can it be sent out for repair?

Do you see any corrosion and dampness back there? Ford had a problem in certain years with windshield leaks. The water runs right down in the GEM module as well as the fuse box. The whole thing gets corroded and all kinds of weird things start to happen. If you do a search on gem or windshield leak in this forum, you might find some older posts, one of which had a guy who took his whole fuse box apart and cleaned it up and put it back together.
