Ok the truck is a 1977 F250 2WD. I am changing the wiper switch because it doesn't work (just spins). The switch has a wire coming off of it but on the one I took out it wasn't connected and the wiring diagram and replacement procedures in the book don't really address that wire specifically. Where does that wire connect?
There is a plug on the bottom of the switch which all the wires go into, then near the top is another wire that on the new on has a ring terminal on it, the old one was just a bare wire, that is the wire I have no idea where it connects.
Well, the diagram I have is not of your year, but if all the colors match, then I can tell you whats what. On my diagram, the seventh wire I did not list is a black wire, that goes to ground.
Ok... Thanks. I ordered the FSM and I am just waiting for it to come arrive. It has something to do with the delay because the Chiltons I have now shows two switches one without the wire and one with, and it identifies the one with the wire as a delay wiper switch.
