heater and wiper wiring info
anyone have the heater harness schematic. I have the book but it dont show what wires hook to what spade connector on the back of the heater switch.
Also need the wiring schematic for the wiper switch. again the book shows the wires going to but not where they connect. I really need the wiper bottle hook up and what wire goes into the fuse panel.
Thanks Tim

It's late here, but tomorrow I can look at my set-up and let you know. Do you have intermittent wipers? I know you have to run power from fuse panel to heater switch. From there 3 wires to blower resistor then to blower motor. Centech doesn't provide that wiring. I am using the old wiring from my old harness for the blower resistor to the switch. I'll post what I find out tomorrow.

I have intermittent wiper. I have the orange wire hanging from the switch and dont know where to go from there. Thats all the wiring i have left. somehow the connector to my heater switch got cut off other wise i would be good to go. I have the three wires from the heater box but dont know where they connect on the switch.
thanks Tim

my diagram showes the orange with a white tracer as the hot lead for the wipers. It is connected to a 14 amp fuse.
as for the blower, mine doesn't show positions, but it is easy to figure out, put an ohm meter on the switch, if the wires were a b c d, in the #1 position a and b will be connected, #2 a-c, #3 a-d. that will tell you which one is hot from the fuse, connect the hot there and put the switch to position #1, you can touch the other 3 wires to the other terminals until you hear the blower at the lowest speed, then move to position #2, do the same , then #3.
You can't hurt anything, if you put them on wrong, it will simply run the speeds in the wrong order, wont hurt anything.

Tim, hope I can explain this correctly. On the wiper harness from Centech the orange wire marked "WW" goes to the fuse panel. There should be a new washer pump harness with connector to plug into washer pump. The green wire gets connected to the green washer motor wire from the wiper switch. I just ran black ground from pump motor to ground block on fuse panel. On the heater switch looking at back of switch there are 3 vertical spades and one horizontal spade. Blue/red goes to upper left vertical spade. Orange which is power goes to fuse panel. It is lower left vertical spade. Lower right vertical spade is red/black. Upper right horizontal spade is black/yellow. These wires go to blower resistor plug on heater box. Looking at back of connector where wires enter, the red/black connects to lower left spade. Black/yellow goes to lower right spade. There is 2 black yellow wires together on this terminal. One comes from the heater switch, the other goes to blower motor positive wire on firewall in engine compartment. The last wire blue/red connects to the upper horizontal spade. Check out pictures. Hope this helps. One question I have is on Centech's fuse panel they are using a 10 amp fuse for heater. On my old harness it is a 30 amp fuse. One of us is going to have to call Jim on this one

thanks for the tip. didnt think of doing it that way. Tim

your heater wires are completly different than what i got. i will figure it out.

here are the wires coming out of the wiper switch. blue, red, orange-white, and Lt blue. The orange w/white is only about 6" long and has a plug on the end of it for another wire. I have nothing for my washer pump. my heater has orange-yellow, red, and Lt blue.
I attached a pic of the wiper switch.

Maybe it is because of a different year? Do you have A/C. Just from my research I know their are a lot of different oem harnesses. I'm sure a lot is the same with minor differences.

that could be not sure. mine is a 75 but even looking at the schematic the color wires i have are not the same in any year. its really weird.

Well I have the majority of the wires hooked up now. Working on wiring in the little things like heater illumination lamp, glove box lamp, wiper illumination lamp, seat belt buzzer. Have been cutting connectors from old harness and splicing/soldering them to new harness. Sure is fun tracing everything. Pretty soon I'll have to hook up a battery and see how much of it will fry.
