My problem was almost the same. The "new" TSb seem to help. I got my truck back after about 40 days total in the shop. If your dealer works the TSB correctly I think it could help. Last week a Ford engineer brought a ride along unit with him..it picks up different vibrations that produce certain a certain amount of hertz....I think that the way it works. Anyways after driveshaft, rear end and Dampner the prob is fixed. The rear end and Driveshaft were done in September 04. Dampner was the last thing it needed. Request them to look at the truck via the "new TSB". There's a flowchart they have to go through.
I had a small vib at 60-65 on my screw 4 x4. The truck has 100 miles on it and i was aware but recommended to still buy the truck. before purchase the shop did do the vibration tests and I was on my way. I drove the truck about a 100 miles and it still had a slight vib at 60-65. I received a call last week that my new tires were in , which I was not even aware they were ordered. Finally , after the new tires were installed and tested per tsb, i can honestly say , I love this truck , it drives like a fine auto.
I have the same problem since the first day I owned the truck. I put on the new Bilstein shocks, it smoothed it out. Tried it out on the same stretch of road that I feel the vibration the most.... gone.
Nobody has posted about replacing the shocks. Bilstein is the first to come out with replacements.
I have an "04" f150. Been to the dealer several times with vibration. The last time they replaced the driveshaft, balanced tires, and installed dampner. Still no fix. I have driven the truck appox. 150 miles since and filed my dsb application. The dealer says they have done all they can do. Now on 2 seperate occasions the truck has vibrated so violently I thought the tires were falling off. Back to a different dealer trw.
