EGR Valve
Ok I have read so many threads against the EGR valve......What does it do "say it in easy terms for us dumb folks" and what problem is it causing? Why are you guys so against it? I'm curious to know more about the EGR valve.

Problem number 1- faulty EBP sensor, causing the valve to open at improper times
Problem number 2- carbon buildup in valve, causing physical malfunction of the valve (open, shut, in between, mainly sticking)
The valve can be unplugged, or disabled through the computer software programming (if you obtain the equipment)

About the programmers/fuel boxes for your truck.The EGR valve recirculates exhaust gas in order to reduce NOx emissions- in other words, is a bunch of EPA, tree-hugging, government BS.
