1997 PSD dash lights

I have a 1997 PSD 4WD and the lights in the dash directly behind the temp gauge and the volt guage have burned out making it hard to see the gauges at night. anyone have any Idea how to change them without removing the dash.. I cannot reach back behind there..

Sorry, your stuck, have to pull the dash out. kinda.

If you have small enough hands, you can just pull the black cowl off the dash, which requires you to pull the lights **** off, disconnect your fuel selector switch, and your wait to start message center too.

Then you will have to get, I believe, an 8mm socket, and a driver, looks like a screw driver, but for sockets, and take the 4 screws out of the corners, then, if you have a manual tranny it gets easy,
Just tilt the wheel down, tip the top of the cluster forward, reach under the bottom and there is one bulb on the driver side, one on the pasenger side and one near the top middle of the cluster that illuminate the gauges, there real easy to get to. if you have an auto, then it is real tight because the shift indicator is still attached and REAL P.I.T.A. but it can be done with it still attatched.
I can do mine in about half hour. but its the 5th one I have done .
