I also believe I read a post here that someone just had their warranty denied after blowing an engine that had the exhaust brake. If I remember correctly, Ford said too much back pressure on the motor which held valves open causing pistons to hit them etc and banks would not stand behind it except to say no it isn't. With the trans brake set up I don't know that I would play with an aftermarket brake.
