Just my luck :(

38 years "to the day" that I got my driver's license 'during a Major Blizzard',I end up getting caught 25 miles from home, in a *White Out* on a 2 way road without a shoulder.

Michelle got better once we got back in town and was able to remove her finger nails from the dash.

Been there, done that... I have guided a number of vehicles along a highway to safety in those conditions several times. One time was memorable because the ONLY way to see anything on I-70 thru western Kansas was to drive with my head out the window and watch the stripe down the side of the road. I had another driver "trying" to see forward. We had to keep going because the temp was dropping and conditions were getting worse. Getting stranded would have resulted in possible injuries or even death. Possibly for many people. We had several cars pass us but they quickly dropped back in behind us.
