I'm not one to write much at all on this site, but I have gathered alot of great information from alot of folks here. I just ordered a lift for my 00SD from Rocky Mtn Suspension. Never again will I order from them again. I asked questions about the lift before I ordered it, and I got answers, but when I recieved the lift, it was evident to me they told me an answer to get the sale they wanted. The lift I ordered was a package deal. I asked if the lift was a Superlift, they responded 'yes it is'. I also asked about the pitman arm for the lift, they responded 'yup, its included, the lift come complete' Needles to say I got a Rough Country lift and no pitman arm. They when I call the guy and ask him about this, he tell me 'I don't know why they would ever tell you that'. I got a few words in before they guy hung up on me.
If I can help others from having to go through what I went through, then so be it. Support those good guys in business that are there for the consumer!! .....My two cents!!
Some forum sites will not let you use company names for the fear of being sued. Just my observation and comment. Good luck about your complain, tried the BBB yet?
Maybe you can get your credit card company involved (if applicable). Stuff like that is why people climb bell towers with rifles. Send them a token of your appreciation. Explain that one small piece of the kit is defective, and if they will send you a call tag and an RMA # you would like to exchange it. When you get the call tag carefully enclose the defective 1/4" washer ( or whatever the defective component is) between several bags of quick-crete to ensure it doesn't get damaged. They will be billed for the freight and they will remember your name. Don't order from them after that.
id just ship it back and refuse the charges on the card. thats why i use amex for everything there sharks about that stuff. makes it real nice when someones trying to pull one on ya
Yep, I agree with barebackjake. Also, if I were in your part of the country, I would give Ryan at SuperDuty Headquarters a call (AZ) and they can fix you up the right way on your lift.
Man, that is a bummer. I ordered a lift for my jeep from them and loved their business... the lift had everything complete, was shipped immediately. The price was also great.
Sorry to hear about your sour deal... have you tried contacting them again? What does your sales order say you got, or ordered rather? I sure hope they get this fixed for you...
Most Credit Card companies will back you up if you dispute the the charge as "Not What I Ordered" since you ordered a superlift kit and received something else you would be correct. The company is held responsible for bad information given out on the telephone.

How much for the lift on the Jeep. I have a '92 Cherokee 4x4 I'm thinking about putting a 3*4 lift on. Wouldn't put a lift on the PSD 4x4 though.
I know that Rough Country lifts are real POS for chevyies, so, I would assume it the same for Ford. Tuff Country, on the other hand has great stuff for Chevies(dont know about Fords)

Well, this probably wont help out much since the vehicles are so different... but the lift was a skyjacker rock ready 6" for a 93 wrangler. It came out to be right at about 1,300 dollars, with shipping and everything. What I liked about rocky mountain suspension was that they were straight forward with what came with the lift, and shipped promptly. Anything to stay away from four wheel parts
