VDO Gauges

I was just wondering if anybody has used VDO gauges in your trucks. If so, what is your overall impression?

I got em in my truck. I really like them. With the green shade on the bulb they really seem to match the stock gauges. And from what I've heard their fairly high quality.

We use them on our snowmobiles that we race, don't know much about them but that they are top of the line.

i have a set of VDO's as well, they match the factory gauges perfectly. the only problem is the niple on the boost gauge(where the boost line screws in) is on the wrong side of the gauge and to put it in a pillar pod you have to cut off the fitting and solder the cooper line to the gauge, which is a pain in the but,if i had to do it again i would get autometer "Z" series gauges

Hopefully they have fixed that problem. If that is still the case I guess they will be going back and I'll probably look into getting the Isspro gauges. I really like the looks of the isspro ev pyro. But I didn't do enough research before I bought these. Oh well. Live and learn.
