where did you get 0-30? And to answer your question, probably too thin unless you are in really cold area. I'd just like to thin down 15-40 for the winter with a mix.
i got the 0-30 at the chevron cardlock where i get my fuel. i can tell you that it get cold where i live, it can range anywhere from 34 all the way to -25, my buddy is running 0-30 right now, but he works in the bush. i heard that if i run 0-30 that i shouldnt go on a long trip with it in there, what do you guys think? anyways with the temp range i gave you do you think i should run the 0-30?
The Delo that you have is one of the finest oils made today. Its rating of CH-4+ in the Chevron line means it is a synthetic blend (GpIII and Gp II) with about 125 ppms of moly. You can run this oil anytime, not just winter. Remember that when the engine and oil are at temp, it has the lube qualities of a 30 viscosity oil. Frankly, where you live, there isn't a better oil.
i am not too sure how much a gallon it was they just put it on my account and the bills go to my secretary to pay, i will check into it for you. so it is ok to run the 0-30 with no problems and i can go on say an 8 hour long trip with no problems?
