Noise on the downshift
I have an 83 F250 w/ a 460. Tonight I started to hear a squeal or whining noise on the 3-2 downshift and the 2-1 downshift when I approach a stop. It resembles the sound of squealing brakes, but it is definitely happening on the downshift of the trans. Anyone have any input? I am not familiar with this truck. Only owned 4 months. Thanks
