Question 97' 4.6l missing when engine is warm

My f150 has had a missing or slight cutting out problem for a couple of months. It only does it after the engine heats up. It runs fine when cold. The check engine light does not come on. I have recently changed the fuel filter and cleaned the mass air sensor. The plugs and wires have about 45000 miles on them. I am fixing to change them. The pickup has 170000 miles on it and has been basically trouble free until now. Does anyone have any more ideas.

What brand of plugs and wires did you use, If not Motorcraft wires and Motorcraft or Autolite plugs, that may be the problem.

I just replaced the old plugs and wires yesterday with motorcraft plugs and bosch wires and it seems to run a lot better.
