Chapter keepers, I have a plan

First off (though I don't mean to get into your business) the only way a chapter becomes a place with style and class, is if life is breathed into it.

And I see a lot of promising real estate out there just laying fallow...

What does it take to bring people together? It's pretty simple (or it seems that way to me). It's called sharing, and we all learned about THAT in kindergarten...

What's going on in your part of the world?

What kinds of interesting and different things go on in your area that the rest of us never hear about where we are?

Is there something of club-wide interest that we should know before we plan vacations? Hmm?

A race, a festival, or even a barbeque that is like nothing the rest of us have ever seen?

This is what I mean about "sharing".
The heads up that allows some of us to be part of something that we might have missed otherwise...

And then there are "Connections" -

If I wanted to go to "Speed Week" in Indianapolis Indiana, could I hook up with someone to get the best deal on tickets to the Five Hundred?

If I was going to travel out route forty, and wanted to catch the Sprint Cars at Saguaro Raceway -

Who's following all of that?

All of these things are the kind of stuff I think a "Chapter" should take a look at, and for Tennessee at least - I can speak.

We are going to. We will be active. And in this, I invite the rest of you to join in.
