Wind noise?
My mom just got a new 2002 Escape about a month ago, she likes it very much, but doesn't like the wind noise that comes with it. We were wondering if we put on the rear spoiler that Ford sells, if that would help reduce the noise, or what else can we do, if anything to reduce it, Thanx for the help. Matt

You may try to put more insulation material between the front fenders and the front doors(open the doors and look behind front fenders) I've found that to help quite a bit. Also, keep the door seals soft with a protectant of your choice, softer rubber makes a good seal. Hope that helps a little, my Mom is going to buy a Tribute next month....so much for old folks driving Buicks.

[updated:LAST EDITED ON 20-Feb-02 AT 11:57 PM (EST)]Yeah, those sheets of Sound Deadining material works well in the doors. Its great because its thin, and slightly sticky, so you can mold it around things within the door.
