My '95 (106,000 mi.) has started act up a little. At cold start-up, it idles real rough unless I blip the throttle a little. Then it smooths right out.
It's also acting like this after it's warm. For example, I might be in a parking lot and ease the clutch out to move a little. When I push it back in, the engine starts shaking and ratteling like it's missing. But give it a little throttle and let it back down, it smooths right out.
I tried to search for similar threads, but didn't come up with what I'm looking for.
Any ideas?
Jess
I forgot to mention that it runs fine at all other times, and seems to have plenty of power. JH
I have seen two other psd's do what you are talking about. I don't know the years but they were the pre s/d body style. Anyways one was fixed by changing to the correct wieght motor oil, the other was sold before it was fixed. I know this isn't a for sure fix but I hope it helps.
