I am looking at an 88 ford ranger, I might purchase. But I like the front ends of the 89-92 rangers. I never have looked at them closeley yet, and i was wondering if I could take the fenders, grill, hood, lights, etc from an 89-92 ranger and put it on a 87-88 ford ranger, and would it match up and look like a stock 89-92
I friend of mine, do that to his 84 ford ranger,
and it look's very good, the only hassle hi has , is that , to fit the light beems, he have to do some cuts to the frame, but exept that, evrery thing else fit fine.
Good Luck
I wouldn't do that. Better to wait and find an '89 or later with everything in place. I found an '89 Supercab for $600. Body and interior nearly perfect. Engine needed work but that I can do. Bodywork is something I can't do.
I am new to this site and Ford Ranger! Tires on my Ranger are p235/75/15 and wonder if rims and tires being offerred to me off a 96 Ford Explorer with tire size p225/70/15 would fit my Ranger.
Maybe you can direct me to where I might find an answer. Thanks.
I notice that you are quite new to FTE. Glad to have you on board.
Let me make a suggestion. Rather than tacking your question on to someone else's question, you should start a new thread. When you are on the section index page, near the top left part of the page is a box labeled "New Thread." Click on it, and start you question there.
Right now, someone who could answer your question won't even know its there because its buried under a thread about "Interchangeable Parts." This is just a friendly suggestion to help and new member of the FTE family.
