wassup everybody,new here to the forums and looking for some good high performance parts for a 4.9 300 i6. i know i can get a 4bbl intake manifold out of the jegs mag with the carb,but im looking for a little more h/p. this truck has 80k miles on it and still runs bran new/dosent smoke and has given little to any trouble at all...i just want to put a couple more horse's on it and turn some heads...so if any of you guys know any where i can go to find some let me know...
Try reading the sticky at the top, that says need more power, this topic has been discussed more than a few times. There is also a search feature, this too will yeild a lot of good info.

h kreis..did it make an ok diff,of like a big change,cause i have a msd box installed
already,and that gave it little to any power at all..but..it did take care of some problems that i had with the spark and all..but i like to go go go you know what i mean.........

yes it made a big diff. the 1 barrel was baaad . Ldrove back from arizona with a clothes pin holding the choke open it had no power on hills top speed was 65 mph with the wind. Now 85 mph [ i did it once] pulls hills a lot better I had a 3.0 rear end and now it is geared lower but I dont know what it is yet, lost the old rear end in gallup new mexico, they charged me $1500.for a used rear end installed. what a hoseing. I could have done the job myself for $200. here at home.
