The search has begun...
As of today, I started looking for another '96 Bronco. As I am fairly particular, it will have to be in very good shape. Mileage in not that great a consideration if maintained correctly. After reading a little on the Bronco forum, I really started to miss my old '96. I will look forward to the benefit of the collective experience here once found and purchased. Great forum here, guys. Old one was '96 EB Midnight Blue/Tan 351W E4od 4x4 w/auto hubs (never had a problem with them on the Bronco either. Only problem I forsee is the expectation that the new Bronco will be as great a truck as the old one. Signing off now to head to the

Good choice. I bought a 96 Bronco XLT with the 5.8, and I love it. I t had 157,000 on the clock, and I've put another 10,000 on it. Not a single complaint, except the auto hubs are no good, and the mileage sucks. Mine was an ex telephone company truck from Lafeyette, Louisiana. Not one bit of rust, and I paid $4500 for it. They were asking $7500, but I noticed the front wheels wouldn't spin in the sand when in 4 wheel. I narrowed it down to the hubs, but didn't tell THEM that. Best deal I ever made.

there is a guy sellin his 96 right round the corner from me, boy is it beautiful. new spiffy paint job like a night blue with metallic chips in it. suspension lift and body size i wouldnt be able to say, but easily fit the 40'' mickey thompson baja claws that are on it. inside looks brand new eletric everything leather and all. engine wise i dont know what its packin but im sure hes done work to it cause the price hes askin is like WHOA. 15000 and shes urs.
