Ipod install ideas?

Ipod install ideas?
Has anyone here figured out the best way to tie into the Audiophile system with an Ipod? I thought I read the radio does not have a connection port which may leave FM modulation as the only option. If so, how well does that work? Thanks all!

My friend just got an iPod & he seems to thing using the FM radio for it works fine. There is probably some sort of cable you can plug into iPod & aux port on stereo...just gotta look

Fm Modulation will cause you to lose stereo separation and frequency response..... but it is the ONLY way to go for now. Ford has been stingy with thier designs, and not allow any of thier engineers to release any info regarding the aux input (other than it will work for the DVD Only)

Since Ford has been so stingy on letting us use the AUX inout how we wish, why not get an Alpine head unit with iPOD control. I just installed on one my wife's 01 Ex and she loves it. You can control all of the functions of the iPOD through the head unit and it has no signal loss since it plugs directly into the processor via the data port.
