Halogen Wiring/Heat Question

I am tempted to get DesignTech 50 Watt Halogen Super Bright Back-Up replacement bulbs for my Ranger, but am worried about the wattage. Being 50 watts, will these pose any problems with heat or wiring? Here is the manufacturer website link: DesignTech

(I know I can get them less expensive elsewhere.)

It's not so much the wiring, but the switch you have to worry about. Here is a diagram of a relay you can add to take the load off the switch.
