a friend has a 2000 f 350 w/a 7.3 psd. fueled up the other day and after about a 1/4 of a tank went through it stalled.......starts and runs for a couple of minutes and dies......eventually not starting at all until it sits for awhile........bypassed fuel tank to try diff fuel and same thing happens. fuel filter was changed about a month or 2 ago......longest it will stay running is 10-15 mins at an idle.......any ideas would be greatly appreciated........chris
Yeah either that or a heavily clogged fuel filter from algae or gelled up from the freeze. Who knows this is his first post and no information on where he lives.
I had same problem with right after thanksgiving. Injector Drive Module. Here is the cool part the part is cover up to 100,000 mile with a hundred dollar deductable.

My truck will stop while its going along at 40 or so mph, I've also had it stop while idleing, but it always starts back up and goes for a while before it stops again.
