The old man finally came through. Its nice to know that he can still spoil a 27 year old man. I was pleasently surprised to find a new Lincoln Arc welder underneath the tree this morning. It's only a Hobby welder, but its plenty good to do floor pans, exhaust, and body work on the Bronco! He also ponied up and bought an awesome full mask for it, with the photo-sensitive battery powered lens.
Now Ive gotta go break something after work....

First you get some steel, build a roller stand for it and all the doo-dads you'll use every time...clamps, vise grips, dykes, etc....then... Build Your Dad Something he needs or will use...you always should reciprocate using the gift they gave you! Maybe he has something that needs fixin'.. lawnmower bracket, tailpipe hanger, hinge on the gate...something....Merry Christmas, and you are one lucky dude to have a welder given to you as a gift!!
