yeah i have been there and found that my problems are much bigger than their diagrams can help. is there a manual for just 4.9's? i have the haynes for my truck but it hasnt ben much of a help either they just dont have many pics of the 4.9. i think i bit off a bit more than i can chew on this one. well that and the lack of labeling hoses when i took them off might be the problem.
I posted a couple pictures in my gallery, the disk on my camera was full. I do not know how much those pictures are going to help. If you need more, let me know, also let me know specific spots.
ok well i have it back together and think that i have all of the hoses in the right place. i do have one question though. where are the tow hoses from the coffe can looking thing (yeah that is a technical term) go? if you could either tell me or send me pics of that it would be great.
I can tell you that one of them goes to the manifold vacuum tee and the other goes to the group of three valves (EVP, TAB and TAD) over on the driver's side of the engine over the valve cover. The coffee can has a one way valve, that valve is on the manifold connected side I think.
