You have to remove the Edge, go back to your dealer, and have the system checked. Could be as simple as your throttle sensor. I do not think you have an injector issue here.
I'm not so sure that there is really a "problem" here.
The Edge box DOES have some funny spots in the throttle- these can change with ambient temperature, due to the baro, MAF, MAP, and IAT1 sensor flucuations at lower temperatures during winter.
Awkward throttle feel at heavy throttle/low RPM's are fairly normal with fuel boxes, and the Edge box really raises the low boost fuel. I'm just not convinced anything is out of the ordinary, I KNOW the smoke is not...that is completely normal.
BTW, I am forbidden to modify this one (with the exception of an SCMT set on tow mode when the 1704's for the 2005's come out)
You really think I am going to buy that statement.....I am holding back the tears from a good laugh I want you to know.....Yeah....HHaHaHa.....oops I am turning blue now.. ..gotta go!

No, I'm serious this time
I already have one to mod- now I need one that I can rely on (AKA not having to worry about sending parts through the hood at any given moment).
This one will be pulling the toys...even quite possibly my 250, if it ever loses its street legal status...

Just my Nickles worth.....
Yes, that's what I am planning to do is go back to the dealer. Have an appointment set up for this coming Friday. I'll see what they will have to say.
Went out for a cruise today. Started up the truck, let it warm up. It was running normal no hesitation or flooding feeling when I was accelerating. But then on the way home after driving for about an hour it started to cut in and out. I let off the pedal and then hit the pedal again and it was hesitating quite a bit and then it would take off again.
So now I have a stupid question. I am thinking of unplugging the EGR sensor to see if this problem goes away. Now where abouts is the EGR sensor located. And if I do unplug this will it do any harm? Thanks alot.
Well, took the truck into my dealer today. And the truck ran good all the way there, and for the past 4 days. Go figure. Anyway they said it was a bad EGR. Changed it out and put in a new one and I drove off. Running good so far. Well now I know thanks to you guys on here, is that if it does happen again I can unplug the EGR and continue to keep on trucking. Thanks again
Glad to hear the good news. My tech wonders why Ford put an EGR vavle on the 6.0, but that was something to meet EPA guide lines. Now if the EGR just happens to come lose....
