It maybe just me, but I could swear that cold air (9 degrees outside today) is blowing through the steering wheel under the horn cover and hitting me on the lower part of the steering wheel. It just the slightest blow, but it makes my hands freeze while the rest of the truck is warm. I only notice this at highway speeds.
Is this problem even possible or is it just my imagination? Anyone else have this problem?
i got know clue what that could be....but it sounds like the airbag may be out if air can pass through there....you may want to check door and window seals though to see if its coming from somewhere else.
I just bought an 05 FX4 screw and mine does the same thing. I really notice it when driving 70+ directly into a north wind....at least now I know I'm not crazy.
My 04 Lariat does it to. Its not a lot but i can still feel it on real cold days. It seems to be coming up the column and out between the wheel and column. Don't know of a fix for it yet.
I have seen other post about this but no fix.

I have a 2004 FX4 Supercab and mine does NOT let air in. At least, I never noticed. The temperature has been pretty cold in Winnipeg for the last while and still, did not notice any air coming in.
I will pay more attention for it next time I drive inti a cold wind.
What kind of cabs do you guys have? Would it make a difference perhaps?
Thanks for the responses. At least i'm not the only one. I guess I will ask the Ford dealer when I get my oil changed in a couple of days. I would think there would be an easy fix, but i',m not very mechanically inclined, so who know's.
