Replace 351W with 302

I got a beefed up 82 F-150 with a 351W in it, unfortunately I discovered that there was a crack in the block (a nasty surprise when 16 quarts of antifreeze gushed out at me when I went to change the oil). I removed the heads to discover two shattered pistons and busted valves among a cylinder full of the antifreeze/oil goop. Basically, the 351W is out of the question. I also aquired a beat up 88 Bronco with a 302 EFI in it. (This thing is a piece, it HAD to have been on at least one episode of Cops.) I've got it figured out so far that the motor mounts and c6 tranny will work with the 302, I guess my biggest question is whether or not my Edelbrock Performer intake from the 351W will work in place of the stock EFI intake on the 302. I'd prefer not to have to move the EFI system over (got a Holley carb, don't want to let it go to waste), so if anyone knows their stuff and could let me know if the 351W intake will work on my 302 that would be awesome.

Sorry, 351 intakes are too wide for a 302. 351 deck is higher and makes the manifold wider to fill the gap.

Maybe you can swap that 302 for some change and pony up for another 351?

you can sell your 351w intake and the 302 efi stuff on e-bay to help pay for some of your build up plans!

beware the flex plate woes and be forewarned none of your brackets p/s a/c alt etc will work with 302. careful of the line up pins too I got one messed up and have tranny in welding shop for maybe fix. save all the brackets etc from the 302 if i had it to do over i'd trade for or buy another 351
