Thumbs up New Boy!

Guy's; I don't know where to start in this great forum of yours which I take
seriously ;but also, with pleasure and automotive pride.

Will someone out there please help me get into this forum by asking
technical questions...ie;...camshaft profiles,tumbling vs. swirl,C.D.I. ignition
theory, building bottom-ends that will last..etc,etc..> I'm not going to be
around forever(65yrs old) and I'm ready to share my knowledge and get new
ideas.........help kick-start me.

You'll be glad you did (I hope)!

Thanks in advance,Jerry R. Owen

Kick start you I did.

You now have your own intro thread, instead of sharing someone else's

Welcome to FTE!

To Mil1ion and fordlover1951: I'm just now finding your reply in all this maze of confusion. This is my first experience in forums and I am dumb as dirt;for example, I spent two hours this morning trying to load "JAVA"...15mb of data..I don't even know what java really is, but I thought I needed it to talk in forums........I barely know where to look to receive your message.....Thank you very very very very much for
helping me with my thread(what is a thread?) DON'T GIVE UP ON ME! I know my engines and transmissions> My weak spot is in chassis. THAT'S IT! Call me "YODA"

We have a Main Forum Page where ALL the forums are listed.

The forum to be used by users to ask/tell etc Questions that PERTAIN to the FTE Web Site. We also have a User Gallery forum to discuss the user gallery.

There are MANY Hyperlinks ( text that when clicked on, takes you to a place that the text pertains to)

There are some forums that have Text underneath them to explain to users what a forum pertains to or does not pertain to.
(Ie: NO TECH discussion)

This forum is NOT a forum for asking TECH questions like some user's think they can.

An User Announcement & Introduction forum is far from a question about Brakes or engine parts.

Thats what the Tech forums are for.

Not only are there Forums for YEAR SPECIFIC trucks but also Parts or systems forums for those type questions. ie: {Transmission,Brakes,Suspension,Electrical,etc}

We also have chapter forums that pertain to different states, provinces or countries.
These are found neasr the botom of the main forum page & at the very bottom of the page is the TEST forum wheer user's are to perform any Tests in type or other things.

I hope this helped ?

Hey Mil1ion! I think I'm begining to learn..veeerrrryyyy slowlyyyy but for sure.
I realize it"s bothersome to reply to my needs.
One of these days we will get around to discussing Jon kaase's "short rod" Theory.

Thanks, Jerry R. Owen
