Question Fuel Lines?

i recently filled up my rear tank in my 93 flare f150...i have never used the tank and it was completely empty when i filled it...the problem is whenever i switch to go to the rear tank, my truck does not get any fuel and shuts off like when you run out of gas...i have tried switching WOT and still nothing
any suggestions would be helpful

thanks

I believe both your fuel pumps run anytime the key is on. They are cooled by the fuel. If you have been running with that tank empy your pump is dead. I keep some fuel in both my 94's tanks. 120k no problem so far. Lon

It could be all gummed up from whatever fuel was in there years ago.
Have someone turn the key to run and see if you can hear the tank hum. If it hums like the front tank then it might be still good, just plugged. If it doesn't hum then check for power.
