92 F150 Tuner
As you might be able to tell I am new to this forum and new to this technology. I am wondering what it will take to tune my truck (92 F150). I am not even sure of the type of tuner I need is available.
Can someone give me a bit of info on this? Maybe some product suggestions and some articles to read?

The tuners only work with computers that have flashable EEPROMs (EEC-V, you have EEC-IV). Basically, 1996 and up. For yours you would need a chip:

OK, thanks for that, I will look into those.
I was told that I shouldn't use a chip with my supercharger so that is why I was hoping to program things myself...so I could control what is changed. Do you know if this still holds true or where I can get more information about that?
Also, I would still like to find out about flashable EEPROMs (EEC-V). Is there some FAQ in this forum about that or somewhere else? I have looked on this site and haven't found anything.

Actually, a supercharger almost always requires a custom tuned chip, unless you manually adjust timing and change fueling via different injectors and/or fuel pressure. Supercharger manufacturers ship their chargers with chips in most cases, those they tend to be very conservative with their tunes and you can almost always do better. 
Your options vary quite a bit, from inexpensive custom tuned chips (really need to do a dyno pull with the supercharger to make sure its right) to programming it yourself with a (more expensive) tool such as the TWEECER but you run the risk of blowing the engine if you don't know what you're doing. See www.tweecer.com to find out whether they have an application for your PCM code. Now FAQ in the forum, though I've answered thousands of questions here and you're likely to find just about everything you want to know in this section.
