The snow is coming down like there is no tomorrow here in west/central Ohio and finally got a chance to put the 350 in 4WD. Everyone is slipin' and slidin' and I'm just cruising on by. I've got tow straps/chains and a winch in case I can get anybody out of the ditch (hopefully it won't be a self rescue). Supposed to get about 4 today and as much as 10+ tonight. This next 36 hours might be very interesting. Everyone be careful out there!
By the way...has anyone noticed that when you are ready to leave the house and you've got a stick shift in one hand and a cup of coffee in the other you can let the emergency brake off with your right foot? Kind of found that out by accident (or necessity).
Maxim, We've got a good 4-5'' on the ground....I can see I'm going to be snow blowing most of the evening. I've got a bunch of widows in my neighborhood and I keep their walks/driveways clear. They watch my place and keep me in cookies/pies/cakes most of the summer. A good trade!
When your done playing in the snow. Would you send it down to Georgia!! Please! Got some Baha Claws that need a good workout. I grew up Ohio, Xenia/Beavercreek area, And I do miss Winter. Have fun

I live 3 miles south of Michigan City , Indiana . We just had a 26 inch lake effect snow fall on this past Sunday . We are now under a lake effect snow warning until Thursday afternoon . Anywhere from 8 - 15 more inches is suppose to come . I like snow , however this is a bit much . Glad I got the beast though . I can still go anywhere .
wildcat421: Starting to sound like here. Had 5 feet last week then it rained for 3 days now we are back to 18" per day. Makes the snowmaching fun but tired of having to snowblow every 5-6 hrs.
Back to the original post. Yep gota love the capabilities and more inportant the ground clearance. My wife has a subura forester. Great AWD car in the winter except when the snow is over 10" inches. That's when the truck's make it down the highway and the little SUV's have problems.
You can keep that 5 feet . Guess thats pretty normal there though . Its still fun seeing that much snow . Well fun for me with an FX4 . HE HE HE !!!!!!
Jaybe ,
Pine Lake is the main lake down town . They have bass tournaments all the time . However its pretty hard fishing . I here there are some northern pike in the lake also . However I have never seen any cought . I love the mighty muskies . Northeast Indiana for thoughs big boys .
Well how can anyone deny Alaska of snow....JB around Findlay we can still see the grass this evening.....some big winter storm.....but enough to weed out the idiots and spin them in the ditch.....
yeah this is the third time we are getting dumped on in cleveland... at least the east side with lake effect.... no lake effect today though all part of the strom from the south.....
got the tow straps ready to yank some people out......
i was laughing so hard on the way home from work today... in front of me was a 2 wheel drive s10 and same behind me.... every hill we went up they where sideways... had no opportunity to pass.... i would of just to save the headahce of them spinning out and me not being able to stop soon enough and crashing.... ahh well... i turned they kept going on sideways.... lol...
i would say i got about 6 additional inches today... more on the way.... and then im sure not long after the ole lake erie snow machine will turn on....
jaybe.... one of my real good friends lives in Bellefontaine... or well his parents do... he lives in dublin... i here its pretty sweet down there....
