hi everyone

I just discovered this site a few day ago when a friend asked me to look at his explorer,he has tranny trouble. I haven't diagnosed it yet I,m hoping my code scanner will help. But more to the point a little about myself. I have a 1977 f250, camper special, standard cab, long bed, 460 ci in v-8, c-6 tranny, dana 60 rear end. It is all orginal with 92,000 miles. It needs body work badly and I am hoping to get that done someday. I inherited it from my dad who purchased it new from van boxtel ford in Green Bay Wi. I still got the orginal reciept, 6986.00 including tax. I also own a 2004 hyundai tiburon a little sport car like a toyota celica gt, and a 2000 buick regal that my wife drives. I pit crew for a guy that races an imca open wheel modified at a local track. I also enjoy woodworking, an am an avid GREEN BAY PACKER FAN.
I am here to help others and ask for it when I am stumped. I don't know much about the newer fords but I can find my way around the old ones pretty well.
