92 ranger rough idle
i have tried every thing in my powers to fix the rough idle i even changed the motor with one fron a explorer and all sensors to.i changes the computer,fuel pump,injecters,oxy sensor,air mass sensor,throtle positioning sensor etc...
but it sounds like it needs to be timed but being electronic ignition and not having a disribuiter
this makes it impossabl. it also turnes over about ten to fifteen times before it fires and seems to fire on the compression stroke when it is cold causing it to back fire if any body has an idea please let me know... thank you murray

Have you checked your fuel pressure to see if it's high enough? Maybe the fuel pressure regulator is not working properly.
Also, with all of the things you have been changing, make sure that the wiring has not been damaged, that all of the grounds are nice and clean and that all of your vacuum lines are hooked up. Good luck.
