What is it scared of? Have you tried talking to it to calm it down?

If you mean scored, where is it scored and how bad? Your post leaves out almost any information that would help answer your question.

Yes I mean scored. It is scored down the shaft of torque converter and on the end of it does not look to bad but I would like some advice. Also does anyone know where I can get a low price torque converter if I need one. Any help would be helpful.

If the machined area is scored enough that you can feel it, replace it. It will damage the seal that rides on that surface and leak.

Any auto parts store should be able to get you a converter. I don't have any good source for them.
