I have a 2004 f350 lariat ,is my window washer fluid idiot light not working or do I even have one.I see nothing to indicate having this feature and for $46,000.00 thats kinda lame.

Window washer fluid light is for folks that don't open there own hood. Being you have a PSD, I am guessing that is not the case. Don't take this the wrong way, but the window washer "idiot" light ranks right up there with the low fuel "idiot" light and check guages "idiot" light and to think people wonder why they are called "idiot" lights.

I no were your coming from, but still dont knop if the indicator light is there or not..I almost always check everything but like yesterday there is a first time for everthing.I did not check the washer fluid level and had a hard time driving w/all that salt on my windshield. And as per not having a prior warning that Im running low on washer fluid sucks..I own four other cars and all have it..sometimes these stupid lil thinks are nice..
Next time I turn on the key, I will look at the idiot lights that are illuminated for the bulb test before I start and see if something looks like that
Since my water in fuel light is on - maybe I can use that as a backup ?!?!? wadduthink ?
ayway I called Ford and it does have a low washer lite so it must be broken..I will be taking it to them to be fixed.
This is probably the least dangerous wrong information they've passed out recently, but it's still wrong, unless that's something they added for '04, which I don't think they did. The simplest for-sure test is to check your washer bottle and see if you see a level sensor poking out of the side of it. I don't think you will.
Man you guys must use a lot of washer fluid. I think that I still have most of the original bottle left.
Dang San Diego weather, no bugs, no rain all summer, just run the wipers now and then to wipe away the dust and pollen and you're ready to go. I never get to try out the neat things like block heaters and low washer fluid warning lamps
I use rain-X very cool stuff ....pain to put on....so Daryl you trying to tell us it
Never Rains in California.....hope you guys cannot get that song out of your head for at least a week
If California is so dogon great, then how come so many of you are moving up Washington, Oregon and Montana??!!
Heck, if you don't use the windshield wipers, then how often do you use four wheel drive? When's the last time you actually got stuck? Some of us in the great northwest actually figure that's part of the fun. We'n back woods folk actually use our trucks to haul a load of firewood after we've winched, (note the correct spelling of winch), out our fell Fir trees that we'n done cut down with our own chain saws! Windshield wipers is a neccessity! And that goo they spray on the roads so we don't slip our butt's sideways in the frosty mornin on the way to work gits tossed up on the wind screen like slimy playdough. (We don't use salt up here, it's wet enough -we'd like our rigs to last more than a couple years.) Worsher fluid is like liquid gold. Knowin when it's gone is like bein a goll darn clarevoient to our passengers. We be smart if'n we have lectronics to give'n us information.
And how can I find the right dogon map if'n there's no light in the glove box?!
RainX??? Comes off in the first frost. And if anyone thinks that stuff can keep up with real rain, ya'll got another thing comin!
