one or two quick questions

1. is the pcv valve required for the 400 to run and if its is what do you use on aftremarket valve covers

2, is the carb spacer with the big thing sticking off the back required to make the 400 run

on question #2 cant you just use the push in valve cover breathers

You need to run a PCV on an engine or it will quickly sludge itself to death. The valve cover breathers are worthless. Carbs are also set up to have a PCV on the engine.

The spacer with the "big thing" is the EGR valve adaptor. It is best to have it working to avoid a number of problems.

so can i get a pcv valve for aftermarket valve covers and hook it up the same way my stock one is. also how do you keep the egr valve on a 4 barrel intake. one more thing is the heads on a 351m and a 40o the same
