Wow nice cookie, sorry that your other one got wrecked.... glad to hear that this one worked out for you and it looks ****'a!! what did you end up doing with the reciever hitch? take it off??
Looks nice Cookie. Just an idea, why don't you put the hitch back on in the stock position, cut a square hole for the receiver to go through, and mount your license plate on a flip down folder like old cars used to have. That way you just flip down the plate slide in your receiver and your ready to tow.

That's a cool idea, but there's not enough room. In it's stock location the main plate of the bumper covers only about 1/2" of the reciever hole. It was really close to working with it in place. A 10" drop bumper would have cleared easily.
Looks good Cookie - shiny enough for ya?? That'll sure keep people from tailgating you!! They'll be driving with their own headlights shining in their eyes!! Looks good!!
looks sharp. dont you just hate when you come up behind a truck that had a bumper like that and your head lights reflect off it though......
I angled it down just a tiny bit at the bottom in an attempt to minimize that effect, but if it doesn't work and people are forced to back off.....so much the better. Not being sadistic, just realistic.
Not a bad idea HeatStroked, I may just go ahead and tack it in a couple of spots....after it warms up, 19 degrees and four inches of snow on the ground right now.
One of our work trucks has a similar looking rear bumper in black, it's skookum!. All I can say is I hope that a small car doesn't want to park under it. Can you say can opener...
