Hey y'all,
Is there a way to jump the diag connector and get the check engine light to flash the trouble code on this truck?
It has a 3.0 V6, auto, efi.
Or does one have to buy a scanner or pay ford to do it?
Just asking, because almost all others can be jumpered to make the light flash the codes, what about this model?
Thanks!

I'm not 100% sure but I believe 96s are OBD 11 and require a scan tool. No way to jumper like older models. OBD 11 connectors are under dash and older connectors are under hood.
