Power Control Unit
My friend has been having problems with his 1999 4X4 F250 power stroke 7.3. The Truck has about 100,000 on it so I think it's still a baby far as desiels age. First the dealership said it was the cam shaft sensor they replace it twice. Second time free of charge. Anyway it's back in the shop now and they're saying it isn't the sensor but the power control unit. Does anyone know anything about this. I have a 2000 F150 and I know my truck ok but I do not have the first clue about these desiels. Forgive any spelling errors please. The dealership offered him 16,000 for trade in he says he might take it.
Where is the Power Control Unit? What does it do? Does it even exist?
