clunk

when ever the expy goes from park to reverse it clunks into reverse is that normal almost like a loud snap

Sounds like you got a bad U joint. If you crawl under the truck and look at the driveshaft you should be able to see if it's bad by turning the driveshaft or should I say, try to turn the driveshaft. If you got a bad joint you will see it move.

i tried to turn it and its solid so i don't think it is the u joint what else could cause this

When is the last time you did the brakes on it? It could be the backlash from your differential. The rear brakes might not be grabbing like they should and putting a load on the axle when going into reverse. Another way to check this is to drive down the road an give it gas quickly and see if it does it again. It might be somthing tranny related.
