E4OD slipping gears, got 4 diff codes

Well, I posted this in the truck section several days with no replies, hopefully will do better here.

I pulled the codes on my 92 4x4 F-150 and got the following:
KOEO:
622 - Shift solenoid #2 circuit failure
629 - Converter clutch control circuit failure

CM:
628 - Converter clutch lock-up error

KOER:
311 - Thermactor air system inoperative (right side) don't care about this one.
632 - OD cancel switch not changing state.

The guy I got it from said the trans was rebuilt about 2 years ago and when he got it stuck about a year ago was when the trans started acting up. The only problem I notice with it is if I just put it in drive and go when it goes from 2nd to 3rd gear it'll slip back and forth between the two like it can't make up it's mind what gear it wants to be in. If I start out in 1 or 2 and shift to drive manually it's better. Whichever way I do it, if I stomp on the gas it just revs up like it's in neutral.
I did find out searching that even though the MLPS didn't throw a code it's still a common problem and 628 could be a bad TC but there are other problems that could cause this code(like missing shifts and erratic shift timing among others). I don't think the TC is bad because it drives nice and smooth, I've had the notorious TC clutch failure in my 90 EB and nothing on this truck comes close to those symptoms. I'm hoping this will be strictly electronic crap that I can do myself.
So I'm looking for someone who has had a similar problem and what the fix ended up being or anybody that could throw some usefull info my way.

Thanks.

try checking the MLP/TR sensor connector for moisture. If so replace it. the sensor can cause all kinds of codes or no codes at all. also, add some dielectric grease/gel in the connector when replacing for moisture displacement.

What do you recommend, spray some brake cleaner in it and let it evaporate, then plug back in with the dielectric grease?

It may work or may already be damaged, but you could try. I would make sure to disconnect your battery to clear the codes for about ten to fifteen minutes. Let me know what happens.
