I'm new to the site but I wanted to ask if anyone had a problem with a 2003 F350 6.0 diesel jerking and shaking when towing a load. I have a gooseneck horse trailer. My truck started jerking and shaking every now and then when towing. The shaking to so severe the seatbelts lock-up. I had to either push the excelator or brake to stop it. This went on while Ford tried everything to figure it out, to no avail. Finally, after 5 repair attempts they are refunding my original purchase price and giving me the option of buying another truck under Fords "A" plan. OUTSTANDING. I'm upgrading to a King Ranch. I just wanted everyone to know, I'm a VERY happy Ford customer. They stood behind their product. I'm still curious, has anyone else had a problem with shaking while towing?

 

I tow a 4 horse gooseneck with LQ with no problems. I have a 04 F-350, CC, SRW, SB

 

I also tow a 4 horse with LQ. My horse friends who own even the same year Ford have not experienced this shaking or jerking either.

 

Its amazing how a few trucks have problems that can not be figured out . I'm glad to here Ford is taking care of you . Sounds like your next ride is going to be very nice . Enjoy the new King .

 

How many miles did you have on your truck when they replaced it ?
