I have a 07' f150 xl and it has 55,000 miles on it. Bought it a year ago. When im in overdrive and just cruising going up a hill I can press on the gas a little and it start jerking back and forth. I figured it couldnt be the tranmission because its too new of a truck and I dont haul anything with it. Another problem is, it shakes at high speeds. When i get to 50mph it shakes a little but stops when i speed up. Then at 65mph+ it shakes bad and the sterring wheel shakes from side to side. What is the problem. Help please!
first get your tires balanced. then it sounds like a drive shaft u-joint. even still i got my u-joint done and now i need to get my drive shaft rebalanced

What do you mean by "jerking back and forth"?

If it's a jerking like forwards and back, almost like an engine miss, depending on speed and load, it might be that the transmission needs a fluid and filter change and you use ONLY Mercon V in them.
But if jerking side to side, it's not the transmission.
