Hello,
First time posting, and Thanks for all the info you've all given. I'm a proud owner of a '79 Stepside. My question involves the gas filler assembly. Would anyone know where i can locate the part that attaches to the fender of the stepside? Previous owner has it rigged with simply a pipe running out the fender with a locking gas cap. I've looked everywhere, including BGY, and many other sites. I have the hose, well I think it's the right hose, can't tell without the proper fitting on the fender. Thanks Again, I would greatly appreciate any info, or direction on this. It's driving me crazy.
what about dual tank trucks? I remember seeing an exposed pipe on some trucks, but I dont remember whether it was front or rear tank. I wish I still had my 77 F-150 shortbed with dual tanks...
whd507 according to the 79 buyers guide they did not offer a dual tank option on a 117" wheelbase shortbed standard or stepside pickup truck, only an 8' box.
