no 4x4

I have a '94 Ranger extended cab that won't go into 4wd, I think it's the actuator but I could be wrong. Any help would be apreiceated.

Ford has a problem with their t-case shift motors try having some one pressing the button while you get under the truck and tap on the shift motor it will probably start working. You should replace it you can also try taking the motor off and removing the back circle plate there will be @ 5 prongs riding on a copper disc bend the prongs up slightly so they ride good against the copper plate smear dielectric grease on the disc then put it back together. I have done this it works in some cases. Good Luck
